Registering/Transferring Ownership
The main purpose of registration papers is to track breeding bloodlines. Crow River Fainters is a proud member of the Myotonic Goat Registy (MGR). All bucklings/doelings of breeding quality will either be registered or sent home with registration papers through MGR. The buyer is responsible registering or transferring the kid into their name in addition to the costs associated with the transfer.
In order to get the best profile picture for the kids’ pedigrees, sometimes the kids may have to be a few weeks old. If the registration papers have not been processed through MGR by the time your kid(s) are ready, we will mail the pedigree and transfer papers to the buyer as soon as we receive them.
Pet quality does will not be registered and will not be sold with registration papers. Crow River Fainters will not register wethers. Wether registration papers will be sent with buyer if desired, and registration/related fees are at buyer's expense. Wethers purchased from Crow River Fainters will be required to carry the Crow River Fainters name on their papers if the buyer decides to register.
All goats will be identified with permanent identification by tattoo, microchip, or tag prior to pick up. This will be done at no expense to the buyer.
